Studying for sermon on Sunday... thinking through kenosis, Christ's self-emptying in Phil 2. It's my understanding that He didn't empty Himself of His deity, but rather the independent use of his divine attributes...
Thus He was still all powerful, the one who created the world and continued to hold it together, He still knew all things, such as what was happening in people's hearts and minds...
All things, except of course that one detail of the timing of His return.
So here's my question for you-
Why THAT?
Why would Christ not know that particular piece of information? What's the significance?
