That's a question I get constantly.
It seems like few people know what a pastor does on a day to day basis...
So- a little experiment.
When Twitter first came out, I thought it was absolutely the worst idea ever... Who'd want to do, much less read, little 400 character-or-less minute by minute updates on what someone was doing?
I've since warmed to the idea- both as a way of letting anyone who cares to know what I'm doing with my time, and consequently as a way of providing a bit more transparency and accountability into my pastoral work.
We'll see... so far, I like it. I have a desktop widget and when I switch gears to something new in my day, it takes about 10 seconds to type an update (so the answer to "What do you DO all day" is not "play with Twitter")...
Okay- Staff meeting time!
