Esther

I find that far too often I am guilty of a critique without a concrete substitute of something better. But sometimes it is because I am in process so the critique has to happen in order to get to the practice of something better. But I don't want to stop short at the critique - it's a challenge.

This is why politics is broken... Shame on us. This cuts both ways. Until we learn the difference between competing political proposals and ideologies and enemies, we're going to be stuck, and frankly, deserve whatever misery, financial or otherwise, our stuck system produces. In other words, if you think either McCain or Obama, or their supporters are the enemy, or you just talk and act like it, you are a part of the problem, not the solution no matter how much change/hope/mavericky reform you talk about. Here's John McCain being forced to deal with the end result of all the rhetoric...
