Thesis:
As someone who very much believes in empowering women, all I can say is: If you have to actually change the spelling of words like "women" or "history" to make a political point, you've crossed the line from "cause" to "cuckoo" and the *only* people who will take you seriously are people who can make sense of silliness like "womyn" or "womaen" which kind of defeats the purpose. Yes?
My first instinct is that those who would push for a change in spelling must have been extremely hurt by men.
