Air Sharing Although Avatron's Air Sharing software will eventually sell for $7, they're offering it for free for the next couple of weeks. Air Sharing allows you to mount your iPhone or iPod as a wireless drive on any Mac, Windows or Linux computer according to the Application Description writeup on iTunes.

Creativist reviews Evernote for iPhone

You really need to check out Evernote. The ability to capture pages, thoughts, paragraphs is amazing. not to mention the outstanding mobil access/ With the advent of iPhone 2.0 (cue symphonic swells...), and the Evernot App from the App Store, Evernote is even handier. I dig it. 

John at Creativist is pretty positive, but gives us some critical thoughts as well..

I’m deeply committed to Yojimbo, but I’ve been flirting with Evernote for about three months now. Last week, Evernote rolled out a beautiful new iPhone app with the launch of the app store. Here are a few early impressions of the iPhone app:

• It looks fantastic. It is fun to look at, and easy to understand.
• It is the perfect app to capture ideas as it will seamlessly allow the user to capture an image, a note, or even an audio reminder.
• The interface for viewing your notes isn’t as fun to look at. Text maintains the same formatting and linebreaks as the desktop version, so it doesn’t flow with the small screen. You can zoom in, but then you have to scroll side to side. Granted, it is a beautiful thing to have access to all my notes on the iPhone, but I’d like for them to be a little easier to read and navigate.

Mail Badger for Apple Mail

I dig Dockstar... I have multiple mail accounts and Dockstar's ability to tell me at a glance what account a new piece of mail is coming into is great... it allows me to pay attention to what I'd like to pay attention to, and ignore the rest. I like Dockstar so much, I paid $8 for it.

And as a result of me paying that $8, a free utility which does the same thing has now been released :)

This is sweet. Sweet and simple.

Nicest feature (I think) is the ability to handle projects (more than one task under a specific folder/heading).

Mini List...

Today's my day off.
I really, really don't want to look at my to-do lists...
But...

I have a list of things I want to get accomplished today- so what to do?

Well, I could, of course, just use a handwritten list in my Hipster, but...

That's no fun, is it?

I'll be in front of my computer all day (reading, writing, and etc.ing), so I turn to Check Off, a very handy, very useful little to do manager for Mac.
I use it for days like today, but it's possible to use it as an overall task/project management tool- it's just that good.

Google Map Plugin for Address Book...

Okay- this rocks.
A Google Maps plug-in for Mac Address book. Just over over the address and either right-click or ctrl-click to bring up the contextual menu. Choose Google Map and you're off! Rock on...

You Control: Tunes

This is one seriously cool, seriously useful, seriously free bit of Mac-goodness...

Actiontastic GTD

Simple, clean... very nice. I'm sticking with Backpack because of my need to share tasks and such, but... This would definitely do it for me otherwise (and it looks like that's in the que for development on this!).

My usage of Mail Act-On, while far from novel, has revolutionized the speed with which I can blow through email processing.

If you’ve never seen it before, Mail Act-On is a very clever Mail.app plugin that lets you create key commands that execute Rules you’ve generated in your Preferences. Sounds pretty dull, right? Absolutely. Until you start putting this stuff into action and learn how painfully slow all that draggy mc drag drag business is. Here’s how I’ve set mine up.
