I've moved from the high 300,000's to just over 5,000.

I finished. It really didn't take that long. Your rating as of 9am on April 3rd was 5,193. We'll see what kind of dent I made.

And for your child, I'm thinking something Hebrew for a boy and something Irish/Scottish for a girl. Any info you can give me on family names and like would be helpful.

odd sunday... Can I just be honest and say I'm kind of glad it's nearly over? so tired... :) Yesterday, we had our first "extended" elder meeting. Making it two years without having an 8 hour elder meeting is an accomplishment. Making it through our first 8 hour elder meeting? Bigger accomplishment :) Actually, it was kind of cool. We were all toast at the end, but our elder team works like evergreen in general (and that I love that). I'm not exactly sure how, but we get where we need to get. No votes, just talking, discussion, concensus... friends. But, I still got home at 10:30pm. Scratch that. With the time change, it was 11:30pm. In bed at 12. Up at 5:15am. ugh. Today was odd... not very interactive (my fault), kind of tough (Jesus' fault). We're at the end of a number of chapters in Luke where Jesus lays the smack down on the pharisees, the religious people and the religious system around Him, and leading into Good Friday... if our people don't get why they killed Him after the last few weeks, well... Today, we started with the widow putting her pennies in the Temple treasury (not about tithing,...

distractions... Ahhh... Thanks Lord. It's Sunday night/Monday morning... I'm processing a Sunday I didn't like too much (see earlier post) and so of course I'm up at 3:30. One of the things about yesterday was the number of distractions. You know how when you become a parent you develop a certain amount of deafness to baby crying and noise? It's not that you don't hear it- it's just that you hear the sound so much and at such volume that out of necessity, your brain filters it a bit to keep you from going stark raving mad... Our Sunday environment is a bit like that. We meet in this pub... And the employees are in the kitchen (which is separated from where we meet by a thin wall of nothing) prepping food for the day, often there's someone in the brewing area operating the equipment. There's a load of bread that gets delivered through the middle of every gathering, right around 10:45 or so. Guy just walks right on through. I think if someone is going to hang with us, they have to develop a certain deafness, the ability to tune out all the background noise and just focus on the...
