that I'm trying to remember...
No one thinks Sunday went as poorly as I did
No one thinks Sunday was as great as I did
Sunday is not the center of our community
If they can't handle Sunday, they probably won't hang with the community
No one thinks as much about the church as I do
Some people may have a dependence on our community that far outweighs even mine
It's not about me
My hard work or lack thereof make a difference, so I should work hard.
What else?
um..Jesus: "I will build my church"...Oh yea Jesus not Bob or Christian but Jesus.

yeah, that's what i was saying with that last couplet... it's an interesting paradox that Christ will build His church, but He seems to do so through men and women who work hard...

Good perspective for all us in church plants to remember.
I would add on thing: The community should not be the apple of your (my) eye. Christ should be the fixation of your (my) eyes.

How about:
I'm a filthy rotten sinner saved by grace.
I'm a holy, righteous and pure child of God.
"I'm a b----, I'm a lover, I'm your friend, I'm your mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint..."

I love these tensions.
I hate these tensions.
