Okay, I really don't care what any of you say (yes Chris, I'm looking in your direction!). I'm tired of envying the 13 year olds I see rolling so carefreely by me.
So tonight, I ordered my own dang pair.
I haven't bought shoes in about two years... so, so what if the pair I chose has wheels in 'em???
Any of you got a problem with that???
I didn't think so!
Now, don't you all want a pair? :)
you're kidding, right?

Serious as a heart attack, baby!
Can't wait to show up some Sunday in these bad boys...
And no, Dustin, you may not make fun of me- especially since I told you the mistmatched Vans in 8th grade story!

for your next purchase check out freeboard.com They're like snowboards you can ride on the asphalt. Pretty sweet idea, but i'm not sure how smooth they feel, and you know snowboarding is dangerous enough not having to worry about dodging cars, women with strollers, and a monkey throwing barrels down the hill at you.

Is this so you can say "Excuse me for a couple of minutes" and go for a quick de-stressing wheel around next time you are in a stressful meeting? ;-)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
You see, I've been watching the kids using these things for some time now, with a great deal of jealousy. I'm 32... Too old for a pair, right?
I guess not. You just paved the way. Consider mine ordered! :-)

Do they come with wheelchair wheels?

Hello,
My name is Ken, I'm 35 and I too have wheelie envy.
Sweet. Ok, should we start a pool on how soon after their arrival that you end up in the ER? (joking)

Hey Bob,
Do they come in size 14?

Just remember old men heal slower than 14 year olds! The true test will be can you wheelie around the brass w/o spilling a white russian??

I'm with you Bob - I want some too! Would love to hear how you get on with them - I could never really rollerblade/skate, but these look easy and safe.....

This gives new meaning to the phrase "holy rollers"!
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I'm 28 years old, and I've had those exact shoes for two weeks.
After about two days of falling down, I can say it's the most ridiculous purchase I've ever made. But also the coolest pair of shoes I've ever owned.
You'll skate until your feet hurt. They rule.

Bob,
I must confess that I have a secret urge to buy a pair for myself as well...

Bob,
Thanks--you're an inspiration! I've been jealous since my daughter got some. I told my wife I wanted some (not thinking they came big enough for me). But thanks to you I've gone to amazon and made them the only item on my birthday wish list!
I refuse to pay attention to the negative comments above--I'm 41 and look forward to wheeling around with my 11 year old daughter!
