And now the good stuff... So, all that below about challenges and changes and pastoral angst isn't to say that exciting things aren't happening in our community because they are... Probably the biggest thing right now... We're moving our Sunday gatherings. That's right- leaving the pub and moving to... Another pub. What else? That will make 3 pubs in three years... just wild. We started in the Lucky Lab in SW PDX... and when we outgrew that space, moved over to the Lucky Lab in SE. Well... We've kind of outgrown that space too- particularly in the area of kids. Just too many little evergreeners for that side room to hold, "No Beer Tax!" banner or not! The reality is, while we haven't blown the doors out, we've experienced the same slow steady growth we always have and hit the 80% rule awhile ago (the 80% rule says that when 80% of your seats are filled, growth gets stifled because newer folks feel like it's too crowded and that there's no room for them). Whether the rule is true or applies to us, the fact is, we got bumped up to the NW space for a week because of a once a year bike race,...
