Oh, and... Okay- I had FULLY intended to let the SBC thing go, but I want to highlight one comment and one question along with something from another blog, so... If you are DONE with the SBC thing, DO NOT click below, yeah? Don't complain if you click!!! Okay, here we go... 37 comments later and counting- and a lot of good discussion. Here's one stand-out. I attend an SBC church (well, except for the last month, but that's a LONG story), but I'm in no way in any sort of leadership, nor do I consider myself a Southern Baptist - merely a Christian who happens to attend an SBC church. Legalism is serious; I agree with you that it seems to be growing in its influence throughout the convention, and I really think godly people are needed within to stand up to those promoting it.
