dark... I'm up, and it's still dark out. No mean feat in the middle of Summer in Portland... And speaking of dark- I'm sorry the blog has gone so dark. My mind has been occupied with a hundred different things. But- after a short break this coming week, I plan on coming back with vengeance. On the 5th, the family and I head to Idaho to spend a little time with Amy's mom, and I fly back alone on Sunday. They'll have a nice relaxing week in Boise while I do something of a personal retreat here. The plan is to read, pray, write... think. I feel like in the business of life so many parts of me have atrophied- my mind, my spirit... not to mention this blog. I hope to begin the process of remedying that. Thanks to all of you who have me on RSS or still stop by here. Don't let the tumbleweeds scare you.
