Whew... So we got everything out of the elevator. We left a note at the office asking to be called when they got there and I got the call about 10:30 or so (they tend to keep funny hours at our office building). He promised he'd call back when he knew the time the elevator repair person would arrive, so I could be there to get our stuff. But... After about an hour or so, the call I got was "Okay. We got everything out and piled it in front of your office door!" Yeah? So, here I am racing across town to our office, imagining the other tenants of the building enjoying the impromptu give-away of guitars and music stands on the fourth floor of our building... But everything was fine. I worked up a nice little sweat running up the stairs and then loading everything back into the office. Turned out to be a fun little adventure... In fact, yesterday in general was a pretty good day where I got a ton of jive done.
