Church (Planter) Chat!

Moving soon... Have you ever noticed- the time just before you move is the time you begin to enjoy the place you are the most. Even if you have significant issues with where you are at... the prospect of moving on brings into sharp relief all the things you love about a place. I think that's where I'm at, psychically speaking. I've been enjoying my life so much these past few weeks- oh, sure- there's still tiredness and stress, but I feel as though the sleep thing has largely been worked out, I've felt good about my pastoring and coaching of others recently- as though I'm hitting another level of effectiveness in what I'm doing which is amazingly gratifying, I'm loving our family and spending time together... In fact, it's felt so good, it's made me wonder if, in part, it's not a function of internally preparing to move on. Or maybe I should say, to move into something new- life as a dad of 3. Here comes Josie June Hyatt any day now, and with her, the sleepless nights, the stress of caring for a newborn, trying to take care of Jack and Jane and make sure they know how important...
